Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 16 July 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") describes what is and isn't allowed when using L3git and l3dev.com (the "Service"). It is part of, and incorporated into, our Terms of Service. By using the Service you agree to this Policy. Violating it may result in suspension or termination without refund and may expose you to legal liability.
You may
- use L3git to record, author, generate, and run tests against applications and APIs you own or are authorized to test;
- keep and use the code L3git generates for you, including after your subscription ends;
- use the Service within the seats and edition your license covers.
You must not
Unauthorized or unlawful activity
- scan, probe, load-test, attack, or send test traffic to any system, network, API, or account you do not own or lack explicit authorization to test;
- use the Service to break any law or regulation, or to infringe intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights;
- use the Service to develop, host, or distribute malware, or to gain unauthorized access to any system or data;
- process or store others' personal or sensitive data unlawfully.
Abuse of the software & licensing
- share license keys beyond your licensed seats, or circumvent, disable, or tamper with seat limits, activation, or license enforcement;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software (except where such restriction is prohibited by law);
- copy, resell, rent, sublicense, rebrand, "white-label", or redistribute the software, or present it (or a modified version) as your own product;
- remove or alter proprietary notices or branding.
Abuse of the service & third parties
- interfere with, overload, or disrupt the Service, our servers, our license/activation endpoints, or our website;
- attempt to access accounts, data, or systems that are not yours;
- use automated means to abuse trials, discounts, or free features, or create accounts fraudulently;
- use optional AI features other than with your own valid third-party API key, or in violation of that third party's terms.
Fair use
Some features and any usage limits (for example, AI usage caps or seat counts) are provided for normal, good-faith individual or team use. You must not attempt to evade limits, script or automate abuse of features, or use the Service in a way that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionate load on shared infrastructure. We may apply reasonable technical or usage limits to protect the Service and other users.
Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access or licenses, remove content, throttle usage, or take legal action, at our discretion and without refund. We may also cooperate with law enforcement. Reporting a violation or security concern: [email protected].
