/// No-code Selenium
No-code Selenium that produces real Java you own
Codeless test tools usually trap your tests in their format. L3git records the same point-and-click flow and writes a standard Cucumber + Selenium project — the one your engineers would have written, with self-healing locators they would not have had time to write.
How it works
Open the site in Edge and click through the flow. Clicks, typing, dropdowns, checks, waits, assertions and If-blocks are captured with stable locators.
One click writes a complete Maven project: Cucumber feature, Java step definitions, page object, runner, Jenkinsfile and GitHub Actions workflow.
mvn test in your CI, at any volume, for $0. The code is ordinary Selenium and Cucumber; it runs with or without L3git installed.
What makes the generated Selenium worth keeping
Self-healing locators
When an id or layout changes, the framework scores nearby candidates and keeps the test running, logging the heal with a screenshot. UI churn stops being a nightly outage.
Readable Gherkin
Steps read as When I click the Log in button, with page objects engineers recognise. Analysts author; developers review a normal pull request.
Stable scenario ids
Every scenario carries a persistent @l3id tag that survives renames and regeneration, so run history and flake analysis have something to key on.
More than clicks
Section 508 audit of every page, visual regression, API / Kafka / gRPC / WebSocket steps, data-driven Scenario Outlines, and a UI + API bridge that passes browser sessions to API calls.
Who it is for
- QA teams standardised on Java, Selenium and Cucumber who want a faster authoring path without a second framework.
- Manual testers and business analysts who know the application better than anyone and should not need to learn a programming language to automate it.
- Government and regulated teams: native Windows app, drives the IT-installed Edge, works offline and air-gapped, audit-ready output.
Compared with other approaches
Common questions
Is the generated code really plain Selenium?
Yes. Java step definitions on Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber feature files, page objects and a JUnit 5 runner in a standard Maven project. Open it in any IDE; run it with mvn test. There is no proprietary runtime.
What do I need to run the tests?
JDK 17 or later and Maven, like any Java project. The recorder itself is a native Windows app that needs no extra runtime - it runs on the PowerShell already in Windows.
Which browsers are supported?
Recording uses Microsoft Edge (the copy IT installed - L3git never downloads a browser). The generated Selenium runs on Edge, Chrome or Firefox locally or on a Selenium Grid / cloud grid.
Can non-technical staff really use it?
That is the design: point-and-click capture, plain-English step names, optional prompts to name each element, and an AI assistant that can draft a test from a sentence - running on a local model if your policy requires it.
How much does it cost?
L3git UI is $49 per user per month (annual) with unlimited runs in your own CI; Suite with API testing is $169. A 14-day full-feature trial needs no key or card.
